The yoga mat is made of natural rubber and synthetic resin and therefore promises particularly good grip – with an anti-slip effect in all poses.

The bolster, on the other hand, is suitable for more relaxed forms of yoga such as yin, providing support so the body can relax and let go during asanas. It's filled with spelt husks, hand-stitched, and covered with cord. This makes the cushion both firm and stable, yet cozy on the surface for resting your cheek.

I'm also a yoga teacher, so I've tried out a few mats and am a bit picky about them. I'm all the more surprised: the OM Ya mat is truly the first one that fully meets all my needs. It's very stable; downward dog is much easier because I don't slip. At the same time, it's a bit thicker, so my knees are well padded when I'm on all fours. Comfortable and non-slip is a rare combination. And the look aside – the oval shape is an eye-catcher in the studio. The bolster is especially beautiful; you can really feel the handcrafting. At first, I thought it would be too hard for me because it's so full. But that's exactly what turns out to be so relaxing for Yin Yoga, because the bolster gives you real support in yoga poses and you can lie down on it. I can recommend the collection with a clear conscience.
