We are OM YA Design. A small Hamburg startup. Our mission is your self-love.
This is us.
Through ups and downs since the end of 2017 – and we love it!
I am very happy to introduce us to you briefly and to give you an insight into how OM YA came about and what we are all about. We are Kristina and Malte, married and the parents of now three small children. We originally worked as an IT consultant and graphic designer until the balancing act between family and job became too intense for us. In november 2017 at the beach of Kho Phangan we decidet to work independetly We ourselves wanted more freedom and, above all, the opportunity to live a more mindful life. More time for the family and focus on yoga, health and mental balance. So we founded OM YA at the beginning of 2018.

We are still very small but dream big.
We at OM YA are still a small team of 4 people and everything from product development, design, logistics, communication and marketing is created in this small team. Many things take time and sometimes a little more. Sometimes we have bottlenecks in delivery because we couldn’t reorder as quickly as we bought. We are working on getting better and growing a bit as soon as possible. We want to uphold the New Work principle for our employees as well as for ourselves. The greatest possible freedom in the choice of working hours and the workplace to make work and family compatible and for the greatest possible work-life balance.

Just like for ourselves, we wish for our customers a life with more calm, more mindfulness and more focus on inner needs. Everyone has their own individual way to get more vitality. A lovingly designed “metime” and the natural living out of it – without a guilty conscience. The time we take for ourselves gives us so much strength and positive energy and yet it is all too often neglected. We want to change that by enticing you to a healthy self-love routine with lovingly designed yoga goods. Whether it’s yoga, Pilates or workouts is up to the needs of each individual. OM YA is never about performance or achievement, but always about the feeling of being connected to yourself. Everything is allowed, nothing has to be. Always in balance with body and soul.

This should be your retreat when it gets too hectic outside. Our designs are inspired by the colors of nature, because nowhere else do we feel so grounded and connected to ourselves. We would like to bring this feeling home to you.
