The surface of your OM YA yoga mat consists of a synthetic resin called polyurethane (PU). The bottom is made of 100% natural rubber.
Skin-friendly and free from PVC, AZO (solvents), harmful plasticizers and phthalates.

Natural rubber is a renewable and organic raw material that is grown in Southeast Asia and South America. Compared to synthetic rubber it does not contain petroleum or other chemicals. Due to its natural composition, it is well suited for use in products that come into contact with the skin. Its robust nature makes it hard-wearing and durable. 

The OM YA ADVANCED GRIP yoga mat is easy to clean with a damp cloth – less is more.
ATTENTION: Oils, soaps and too much water can affect the grip Avoid sun exposure. Residues from face creams, body lotions or other oily substances on the surface will stain and reduce slip resistance. The natural odor of natural rubber diminishes over time.

Even if at some point you no longer want to use your OM YA yoga mat for its original purpose, you can misuse it for many things.
